Cheesy Bunny Puffs
Get into the Easter spirit with these adorable cheese-filled bunny pastries! Crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, they're irresistible straight from the oven!

- 1 pack (320g) ready rolled puff pastry
- 50gr Mozzarella, grated
- 30gr Red Leicester, grated
- 1 tbsp double cream
- Ground black pepper - season to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 220ºC/200ºC Fan/Gas Mark 7.
Roll out puff pastry and cut bunny shapes using a cookie cutter.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cheeses, cream, pepper and chopped basil leaves.
Add the cheese mixture to half the bunny doughs and top with the other dough halves, sealing around the edges with a fork.
Brush the egg over the top of the pastries.
Bake for 15 to 20 mins or according to the puff pastry package directions.
Once baked, paint the eyes and mouth of the rabbits using barbecue sauce.
Eat while warm.
