Mac'n'Cheese with British cheeses
This mouth-watering creamy Mac’n’Cheese is made using your favourite British cheeses. So easy to prepare and ready to serve in no time.

- 350g macaroni
- 30g butter
- 30g plain flour
- 400ml whole milk
- 100g mature Cheddar cheese, grated
- 100g Red Leicester cheese, grated
- 100g Caerphilly cheese, grated
- 1tsp Garlic powder
- 1tsp Mustard powder
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
While the pasta is cooking
Melt the butter in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the flour and cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly and heat until the sauce thickens.
Remove pan from the heat, toss in the cheeses, garlic powder and mustard powder, and season with salt and black pepper. Whisk until the cheese is melted.
Drain the pasta then add to the cheese sauce.
Serve immediately.
